Kaligandaki River Rafting:

Kaligandaki River rafting is a beautiful unspoiled river with good White Water, gorges, wildlife and a feeling of remoteness. Recommended for people wanting and exciting medium-length raft trip and as a self- sufficient kayak trip for intermediate and expert Kayakers.
 



Itinerary

Day 01:

Drive tourist bus to Pokhara Over night (O/N) at hotel.

Day 02:

7. 30 am meet - store extra luggage. Breakfast, (not included). Drive Beni 3 hours. Unload gear eat lunch and load rafts. Safty briefing - depart. After a brief warm we encounter 2 big class 4 rapids "little Brother" and "Big Brother". After scouting the rapid's safty kayaks will descend followed by the rafts. The confluence of the Modi Khola marks arrival at the evening campsite. Unload rafts one team prepares dinner whilst the others relax, take in the scenery or play volleyball.

DAY 03:

Plenty of adrenaline and spectacular scenery. Views of Annapurnna 1 and Himachuli are interspersed with continuous class III sections of river, culminating with the challenging class IV rapids, "Refund" and "Tombstone".  Lush vegetation and spectacular waterfalls cascade down cliff faces and lead us to camp at the village of Purti Ghat.

DAY 04:

Upon reaching the holy village of Seti Beni team members have the opportunity to take photo's of the Kali Gandaki's biggest rapids and this sacred Hindu temple. Not long after this the journey comes to an end. Bus to Pokhara.

Day 05:

Departure at 7.30 am by tourist bus to Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu at 2 pm.

Cost include:
Inflatable boat, helmet, paddle, lifejacket, rescue rope, carabena, water, all three hygienic meals during  river days, free rum and coke, transport by bus, kitchen wear, excellent cook, expert guide, rescue Kayak, sleeping tent and mattress.

Cost not include:
Flight ticket, your insurance, personal belongings, sleeping bag, sun glass with rope, sandle and sun cream.
